3-Burner Cook TopWhen building your new home there are always lots of decisions to make. Of course, the smaller the house the less decisions you’ll need to make. The kitchen is probably the room that will need the most consideration because you will need to decide on which appliances – brand and size. These are all decisions that you will nee to make from the start – before you start.

For example – you will need to choose between a small full stove with oven or a cook top. As you can imagine a cook top will take up less space but you would probably want to add a convection microwave so that you have a replacement for the oven you will not have.

Having said that, here is a review of a good cook top that is available at Amazon.

Atwood 3-Burner Slide-In Cook Top

The main specs are:

  • 9,000 BTU.
  • 20 1/4″wide x 3″height x 17 3/4″ deep.
  • it can be used with either propane or gas (if you choose gas, you will need to get an adapter).

There is one review on Amazon and that person gives this cook top 5-stars – a perfect rating.

It even comes with an optional cover. You can take a look and buy the cover here: 3 Burner Cook Top Cover. A cover is a good thing if you don’t have a lot of counter space (I know this because we have very little counter space in our RV and the cook top cover is often used for additional working area). It also helps to keep the kitchen looking a little less cluttered.

Danby Compact Gas RangeThis is a stove (or range) made by Danby. It’s compact at 20″ wide (the dimensions are 15″ high 16″ wide 18″ deep). It’s a gas range but can also be run using propane.

It has two burners. The oven is 2.62 cubic feet in size and it has an interior light, and a window to see inside.

Like most other regular size ranges, it has a drawer beneath the oven.

The backsplash has a digital clock with a timer.

It is the perfect size for a small living space. The fact that it can be used with propane big plus if it will be placed into a house on that is built on a trailer, or for use in a place that is remote.
